Mediaprint is awarded the PSO Certificate for the second time!

Media-Print Informationstechnologie GmbH has recently undergone re-examining for the criteria to achieve PSO certification.  The ISO 12647-2 standard offset printing process sets high standards to meet quality, error prevention and quality consistency.  We believe this certification is very important in the future production interfaces for our demanding customers.  The added value of being a PSO certified partner is that a job can be protected from data collection to the finished printed product quality in the long term.  Using the appropriate test equipment and test methods described by the PSO, manufacturing processes are monitored, controlled and tested regularly.  today it is our goal to make our production process as efficient as possible.  Mediaprint has proven once again: by PSO quality is measurable, demonstrable and provable.

Mediaprint invests in another Speedmaster XL!

In addition to higher productivity, the integrated Inpress Control System provides a more constant quality.  Prinect Inpress Control automatically measures and controls color and register while the machine is running - and at any speed.  Integrated directly into the printing machine, it records the scale, colors, spot color and register in the color bar.  Any necessary corrections will be forwarded directly to the Prinect Press Center for readjustment.  Since the machine does not even have to stop to set up for circulation control, it achieves a maximum productivity Prinect Inpress Control.

Mediaprint provides art books to Milwaukee in Wisconsin

The Grohman Museum at the Milwaukee School of Engineering remains to be one of the greatest art collections in the world on the subject of human labor.  The collection covers a period dating back to over 400 years ago, from the sixteenth century to present.  The author of the art collection, Prof. Dr. Klaus Türk had been a previous Mediaprint customer, so it was obvious to him to choose Paderborn once again to produce.  The books arrived right on time in the last week of December in Milwaukee to the satisfaction of all.

Installation of the New XL 105-8-P

On April 1 2009, we began the installation of our new
    Heidelberg XL 105-8-P.

The machine features Prinect Inpress Control for spectral-photometric inline color-measurement for measuring and adjusting the print control bar and the machine’s register. Together with the Autoplate XL, the fully-automated plate changer, Mediaprint can generate far shorter make-ready times.

Mediaprint thus reacts to the trend toward smaller print runs.
